Westminster Council would like to invite you to register your interest in attending the next Westminster Open Forum meeting which will take place on Wednesday 18 October 2017 at Westminster Cathedral Hall, Ambrosden Ave, London SW1P 1QW. Doors will open from 6.30pm for a prompt start at 7pm with the meeting closing at 8pm.
We launched #MyWestminster this year as part of the Leader’s City for All vision. #MyWestminster is our way of listening to residents, from across the various neighbourhoods that make up Westminster, to understand what you love and what you think can be better.
This event follows our last Open Forum meeting in March at Lords and which was attended by over 150 people.
We would be delighted if you were able to attend this next Open Forum event. If you are unable to attend, there will be further opportunities to take part. Any future meetings will be advertised well in advance to give residents every opportunity to contribute.
The Leader of Westminster City Council Cllr Nickie Aiken will be in attendance, along with myself and other Cabinet colleagues.
To ensure we cover a good range of topics and make good use of the time, the meeting will be chaired by Cllr Lindsey Hall, councillor for Abbey Road ward.
The meeting will be structured around a question and answer session with Cllr Aiken and Cabinet colleagues. My colleagues and I will take questions on a range of topics of interest to you. If you already have a particular question, it would help if you would kindly submit it in advance. This will help us to get to as many questions as possible on the evening. After the pre-submitted questions, we shall then open the session to the floor for a few additional questions.
We would encourage everyone to pre-register their interest, as places will be at a premium. So please let us know if you plan to attend, as early as possible. We have limited venue capacity and attendance will be on a first come first served basis.
To register your interest in attending, and to submit an idea or question, please contact us by 9 October at the latest by Email at Register on the website
