Queen’s Park Community Day

Queen’s Park Community Day

is taking place Saturday 10 March 2-5.30pm at Avenues Youth Project, 3-7 Third Avenue. The theme is community involvement.

The line up for the day is really exciting. We’ve got panel debates featuring Karen Buck (MP for Westminster North), Solomon Curtis, (former Vice-Chair of the British Youth Council) and Hamza Taouzzale (Former Youth MP for Westminster, Trustee for the Young Westminster Foundation and Labour Candidate for Queen’s Park), an exhibition of 100 years of women’s right to vote by Queen’s Park Library, community theatre from Paddington Development Trust, a competition to design QPG Football Academy’s first girls’ football strip, a musical instrument making workshop for kids and lots more (including food of course).

We’re also be joined by Working With Men, Fliss Fame Academy and Friends of Queens Park Gardens. There will also be a session on how to become a community councillor in the upcoming elections.  #QPvotes2018 @QPCouncil
