Last call for clients for the following course below …

Do you have any clients that would benefit, mothers with babies welcome.

Do you have any clients who are migrants with a low level of English, that may be socially isolated and have a new child under the age of 18months, babies welcome, your client does not need to be in receipt of funding, or benefits as it is open to all.

If so, WAES are delivering the second GLA funded project  ‘My Baby and Me’, a ESOL embedded creative course where your client will create a treasure chest and baby book ‘ of personal stories, memories, moments to share with their child at a later date, they will meet other mothers and hopefully feel confident to access local wide services in particular the NHS, libraries etc.

Background
WAES delivered the first course last year in the South of the Borough which was extremely powerful, with 100% positive feedback, the cohort of mothers over the 8 weeks, were able to share their story and journey to England many having suffered trauma and abuse coupled with social isolation on arrival due to low English levels or lack of community. The course offers a safe space to share, creative, discuss and learn thus supporting all attendees on a path to self empowerment, inclusion and a sense of belonging.
