Grand Junction Awarded Government #HereForCulture Funding
This month Grand Junction are thrilled to announce that they have been awarded funding from the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport’s Culture Recovery Fund. This will support them to present their growing programme of inspiring, uplifting, comforting and entertaining performances, talks and exhibitions, while sharing the grade 1 listed building with a wider audience in person and online.
The Culture Recovery Fund has pledged £1.57 billion through its #HereForCulture campaign to support culture right across the UK, to ensure that the country’s most loved heritage sites, music venues, museums and independent cinemas can weather the impact of coronavirus and come back even stronger.
This support will make a huge difference to the breadth of cultural and creative events that they are able to present at Grand Junction and will enable them to reopen the venue to the local and wider community like never before. During this challenging time, their innovative approach will welcome culture-lovers to experience and enjoy the arts in an inspiring, atmospheric, and COVID-secure environment.
