In Memory of Craig Macdonald

It Is with deep sadness that we learned that Craig Macdonald (PDT Vice Chair) passed away on Saturday the 21st of March, from a heart attack.
Craig  had served the Trust since 2016, supporting Trustees and Staff with his time, wisdom and huge generosity. He will be sorely missed by us all.
Our thoughts go out to his wife Vi and family at this distressing time.

    1. This is my second reading of the comments and it helps us to know that Craig our son was helpful to many and will be missed by so many too. It breaks our heart that he left us when so young but we have lots and lots of memories and now too a lovely daughter-in-law in Vi.

  1. Thank you all for your kind words about our son Craig. It has broken our hearts to lose him so young and suddenly and for Vi her husband so early. We are thankful he has been helpful to many people and it is lovely to be told about it. Thank you.

    Jan and Michael.

  2. My sympathies go out to Craig’s family and loved ones. What an inspirational person with so much wisdom to share, you will truly be missed.

  3. Craig – so pleased to have known him the last four years and benefitted from his passion, sound judgement, and huge generosity (with his time and at the bar!). So sad now that he’s gone…but we will make sure only in person and not in spirit – because he represented so much of what is good about PDT and all the love we have for him won’t die. RIP

  4. Craig was a fantastic person and gave our Employment Team so much support. Nothing seemed too much trouble even though he had such a busy day job. It was clear his support came from the heart but it was always offered in such a down to earth, modest and humorous manner.
He helped us take on some of our funders when they were not treating us right and it was impressive to see how they quailed at his dot gov email address! We will miss him tremendously for his support for our work but most of all for being just a lovely guy.

  5. I am so grateful to God for the opportunity of knowing Craig McDonald. He was a great support of the work of the Employment Team and the team as a whole! I remember you standing by us through challenging times on one of our contracts and also your help and support on EQUIP! He had nothing but love for my team and always expressed this. I pray that God will comfort his wife Vi and his parents and extended family. Sleep well Craig! Gone but never will he be forgotten!
