Interview date: Tuesday, August 31st 2021 – in person
Salary: Chief Finance Officer – £45,000 – £50,000

PDT is a registered Charity and community-based not-for-profit Regeneration Company with socio-economic objectives. Formed by local people in 1997, PDT was originally established to deliver services and improvements to the quality of life for people living within the North Paddington area of Westminster.

Our vision is: To bring people together & support them to take charge of their own individual & shared futures

Over the past 15 years, PDT has delivered a wide range of projects, programmes and contracts including young people, employment, health and well-being, social enterprise and community development on behalf of local people. We have also developed and now run an Arts and Cultural community centre at Grand Junction at St Mary Magdalene Church following an extensive Heritage Lottery project and a project cost of £7.3m.

Over the years, we have levered in well over £40m to the local community. Inevitably, we now manage contracts which extend beyond the borders of North Paddington and Westminster and which take into account the context of the wider financial and social environment. Despite this, we remain true to our mission statement and objectives.

Following many years of service, our current Chief Finance Officer is retiring and we are now seeking her replacement.
The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will be responsible for the management of all financial activities of the company. Duties include tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as strategic analysis of the organisation’s finances.
The CFO will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Board of Directors/Trustees on all strategic and technical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new funding.
