Take on a new person for one day a week and Westminster Works will pay you 60% of their wages!

What’s the catch? There isn’t one. Supported by Westminster Council, Westminster Works is a local partnership  run by PDT, a Westminster based charity and we  help people get jobs and start work during the recession. We also help businesses in Westminster start up or  boost their existing operations. .

Neighbourhoods Advisory Group launched

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010
Paddington Development Trust, the Westminster based award winning social enterprise,  is launching the Neighbourhoods Advisory Group (NAG) as a response to the changing nature of community development in these times of extreme austerity. See more under NAG in projects.

Neil Johnston, PDT CEO and Director of NAG said:

In this new age of austerity it is vital that the skills base and approach to solving our most difficult social and economic challenges do not disappear. NAG will help keep these skills alive in the coming years by providing third sector and public organisations with cost effective and action-based neighbourhood solutions, and ensuring equitable access and opportunities to the many people who do not yet benefit from membership of the big society.
