Connected Healthy Communities Conference
Every year since 2013, the Community and Maternity Champions programme has organised an annual conference in November. They offer their time freely to support the health and well-being of their families, friends, neighbours, and the wider community by bringing communities together. Our communities’ original ‘community connectors’ have a special place in the emerging Place-Based Partnership (PBP), particularly the Vibrant Healthy Communities (VHC) network.
As a result of the importance of Champions and other community connector roles within the developing integrated care system, this year’s theme is ‘Connected Healthy Communities‘. This year’s program has been developed in consultation with Champions and some of our NHS, council, and voluntary sector colleagues and partners and is based on the latest priorities.
